专利说明:
Technical field of the invention The present invention relates to a device for actuating a ring in a timepiece, and the method of actuating a crown in a timepiece using such a device. More specifically, the present invention is particularly adapted to be used in combination with a wristwatch with a mechanical movement or an electronic movement or with a pocket watch. Background of the invention The crown, or more precisely the winding crown, is a button of very varied shapes, which usually protrudes from the watch box and can be grasped between the thumb and the index of a user to go up. the watch and / or to set the time and the setting of the calendar indication (date). Some crowns may also include movable pushers to enslave the chronograph mechanism. To set the time of the watch, the crown must generally be grasped by the fingers and then pulled outward (in the radial direction of the watch). However, this operation can sometimes be difficult, especially when the crown is of a small size and / or when the user of the watch have the nails too long or too short. Also, the potential difficulty of use makes that "more avant-garde" forms of the crown are never implemented in practice. Summary of the invention Therefore, the present invention aims to provide a new improved way to actuate the crown in a timepiece. In particular, the object of the present invention is to propose a new device for actuating a crown in a timepiece and the corresponding actuation method that makes it possible to actuate any crown in timepieces in a simple manner. and practical, while also presenting an attractive aesthetic appearance. As such, the present invention relates to a device for actuating a ring in a timepiece according to independent claim 1, and a corresponding actuating method according to independent claim 9. The More detailed embodiments are defined in the dependent claims and in the description. More concretely, the objects of the present invention are achieved by a device for actuating a crown in a timepiece comprising a box, which comprises a first and a second input element arranged so as to be able to exert a force on the crown in the radial direction towards the outside of the box in order to put the crown in the time setting position of the timepiece. Also, these first and second gripping elements of the device according to the present invention are arranged so as to also exert a force on the ring in the radial direction towards the inside of the box in order to return the crown to its initial position. With such an actuating device, it is possible to actuate the crown of a timepiece in a simple and practical manner. The actuating device according to the present invention therefore makes the use of the crowns in the mechanical or electronic timepieces easier, further adding a decorative aspect to the timepiece. The more detailed and alternative embodiments of the present invention are described in the dependent claims and in the description. It should be added that all these different embodiments of the present invention can be easily combined with each other (or also combined with other means) to provide further optimization of the present invention. Brief description of the drawings The invention will be better understood on reading the following description given by way of non-limiting example, looking at the attached drawings which show schematically:<Tb> Fig. 1 <SEP> a perspective view of a box of a timepiece with the most important components, having the actuating device according to an embodiment of the present invention in a state of rest;<Tb> Fig. 2 <SEP> a view from above of the box of fig. 1;<Tb> Fig. 3 to 5 <SEP> top views of the box of fig. 2 with the actuating device in different phases of its use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION Referring to the drawings, a non-limiting embodiment of a device for actuating a crown of a timepiece according to the present invention is now explained in more detail. FIG. 1 illustrates a box 2 of a timepiece 1, specifically a wristwatch. However, the present invention can of course be used with other types and models of watches, for example also with a pocket watch. In known manner, the box 2 also includes fastening elements 3 (only one of which is visible in Fig. 1) for attachment to a strap that allows the watch 1 to be worn on the wrist. Similarly, the box 2 comprises an opening 4 making it possible to house a clockwork movement (which is not shown in FIG 1 for the sake of simplicity), as well as a crown 5 connected to a winding stem 6 (FIG. illustrated only schematically). Also visible in FIG. 1 is the device 7 for actuating the ring 5 according to the present invention in a state of rest. Its structure and operation are described in more detail with reference to the following figures. FIG. 2 represents the box 2 of FIG. 1 in a view from above. The elements that are repeated in the different figures always bear the same reference numbers so that a detailed explanation will not be given that for the new elements. As shown in FIG. 2, the actuating device 7 of the crown 5 comprises a first gripping element 8 and a second gripping element 9. These two gripping elements 8, 9 are arranged to be pivotable about a first pivot axis 8 and around a second pivot axis 9, respectively. These first 8 and second 9 axes of pivoting of the first 8 and second gripping element are positioned on the sides of the box 2 of the timepiece 1. When the first 8 and second 9 gripping elements are pivoted about their respective pivot axes 8, 9 in the direction to remove them from the box 2 (as will be explained later), the free ends 13 , 14 gripping elements 8, 9 exert a force on the lower part of the ring 5 (and therefore the face of the ring 5 in front of the box 2) in the radial direction towards the outside of the box 2. In this way, the crown 5 is pulled into the setting position of the timepiece 1 (shown in FIG. In the opposite way, when the first 8 and second 9 gripping elements are pivoted about their respective pivot axes 8, 9 in the direction to bring them closer to the box 2, the gripping elements 8, 9 exert a force on the upper part of the ring 5 in the radially inward direction of the box 2. In this way, the ring 5 can be returned to its initial position (shown in Fig. 2). To put the first 8 and the second 9 gripping element in rotation about their respective axes 8, 9, the actuating device 7 according to the present invention comprises in particular an actuating element 10 which is arranged to so that its displacement causes the movement of the first 8 and second 9 gripping elements. To this end, the actuating element 10 is indeed a lever which is itself arranged to be pivotable about a third pivot axis 10 fixed to the first 8 and / or second 9 gripping elements. FIG. 3 and 4 show the actuating device 7 when this actuating element 10 is actuated. Regarding an element that pivots about the third pivot axis 10, it can be pushed downwards (in the direction of the second input member 9) by the user. An intermediate element 11 is fixed to the second gripping element 9 so as to be pivotable about a fourth pivot axis 11. At the same time, this intermediate element 11 is also fixed to the actuating element 10 so as to be pivotable about a fifth pivot axis 11. This fifth pivot axis 11 connects the intermediate element 11 to the actuating element 10. When the actuating element 10 is pushed downwards, it rotates about the pivot axis 10 which, thanks to the connection between the actuating element 10 and the intermediate element 11 also causes a rotation of the intermediate element around the pivot axis 11. These rotations of the actuating element 10 and the intermediate element 11 result in a rotation of the first 8 and second 9 gripping elements in the outward direction of the box 2. Thanks to the ends 13, 14 of the elements 8, 9, the force (illustrated by an arrow in Figures 3 and 4) is exerted on the ring 5 to push it towards the time setting position of the watch 1. FIG. 5 illustrates the position of the actuating device 7 according to the present invention when the ring 5 has been brought into the position of setting time 7. It is visible that the actuating element 10 has been pushed far enough to Rotate about 135 ° from its original position. Of course, this is just an exemplary value and it is obvious that this value may vary depending on the exact arrangement of the elements of the device 7 and / or depending on the construction of the watch 1. To return the ring 5 to its initial position, the pressure is applied in the opposite direction, so the actuating element 10 is pushed upwards (towards the first gripping element 8) which results in a force on the upper part of the crown until it returns to its neutral position (shown in Fig. 2). Of course, the device 7 may be made of different materials, eg a metal and / or the material used for the manufacture of the box 2. It may also be provided with ornaments. In the foregoing, the invention has been described first in general terms and then in the form of an explanation of practical achievements. Of course, the invention is not limited to the description of modes of implementation; it goes without saying that many variations and modifications can be made without the scope of the invention which is defined by the content of the claims, is left.
